I have used diatomaceous earth, and it is very natural. However, it is only a short term solution, I noticed I had to put it on every day or every other day in order to keep the fleas away. If I skipped a day or two, I would notice fleas again. It also gave their fur a weird texture, but it works if you are willing to keep up with it!
