I agree, Im not a fan of the crate all day.. or even at night , a expen with a bed toys and food at one end and the pee pads on the other... she will pee on her pads.. after she pees let her out, leave the expen open and keep putting her on the pad and give her a big treat when she pees...she will get the hang of it.. puppies need lots of excersize and play time.. I think an expen is your best bet. You can sometimes find them on Craigslist under baby items (play yard).. I got mine for 10 bucks..
