Our first Yorkie, Gidget, was like that. All the pups would hang together and she was always off to the side on her own, and she would get run over by her siblings too. We were worried she would get hurt or killed.
We went to see her a few times and the clincher was when one day we went to see her at the breeders she was of course away from the pack on her own, but she looked up at us and started wagging her tail. SOLD!
She was a great dog, active, loved to play fetch, and was affectionate too. Very much a lap puppy. Personally I don't think it affected her at all. She is no longer with us but was an incredible dog. I am glad we ended up choosing her and wouldn't hesitate to choose a puppy in similar circumstances. |
