My husband is from Nashville...well, Gallatin actually. But his grandparents still live in Nashville off of Gallatin Rd. I have 2 friends who live in Hermitage. What part of N'ville do you live in?

I went to college near Knoxville but am always visiting Nashville to see my hubby's family. We live in Charleston, SC though....it's beautiful here.
I actually live in Lebanon. If he is from Nashville, he will know exactly where that is! I actually grew up in Pigeon Forge which is right outside of Knoxville. It is beautiful around here though. I love being close to the "big" city but just far enough out of it to not be too busy. It even snowed here last night (SHOCKED!!!). But of course, it has all melted...no fun!!

By the way, you all are giving me ideas I never thought of! A blanket will be great! I even have a teddy-bear I can put in her crate with her (she is already crate trained, YAY FOR ME!) that smells like me. My mom said it makes them feel better when it is a familiar smell like an owner, they feel safer or something. I will also go to the pet store on Sunday to find a harness. I do have a dumb question though. My fiancee is so scared about stuff that "could" happen. If we do get a harness, should we still keep a collar on her with a tag just in case even if we use the harness? I mean, it seems like it would be very helpful and will make him feel better about it. We have a lab in our fenced in back yard and he is so used to bigger dogs and them being able to get away...I think he is still in that mind set so I am not sure.
