Welcome to YT. Nine weeks is very young. I would think a Vet check to make sure all is ok. Then buy ear plugs to use for about a week or so. Sorry I am not teasing. When we have pups we begin putting them in their own sleeping crate at night at age 7 weeks and they usually cry about 3 or 4 nights. Then they begin love their private little space. I let them nap in it too. Going in their crate means a treat, chew toys, or a special squeaky toy they only get when in their crate. My pups also get their own blanket with Mama sent on it. If you use a stuffed heart beat toy make sure it is chew safe. So when they go to their forever home at 12 weeks (or older) they are pretty much crate trained.
