Your puppy is very young and of course is very homesick for it's mom and litter mates that he is used to sleeping with. It is very difficult for a young one to learn to sleep alone at this point. Little puppies also have very small bladders that need to be emptied more often.

I'm no expert at crate training. I have failed it every time I've tried it. Maybe try to get your puppy very tired before bedtime. No naps. When he is tired put him in his sleeping area and turn off the lights and be sure it is quiet.

Remember that a puppy's bladder does not have the ability to hold back urine until it is at least 16 weeks old and that is only a start. You have some busy times ahead.
