I am happy you got it down in size, I have an entire litter of 5 or 6 in an 8 panel pen, babies only need room for a bed, food, water and a pee pad, the more room they have the harder to teach them, that is why you don't let a puppy run free in your house all the time. as puppy grows and it gets better with potty issues then you can give him more space in the pen, i still pen my yorkie when I go out , and she is 3 years old, she is very delicate and I will not risk her getting hurt while I am not at home, better safe than sorry..
