I do groom her myself, rather than leave her somewhere to have it done...I'm a lil overprotective like that, lol!
I think anything could be a choking hazard for them because they are so small. Pita has been busted many times chewing on her bow that she proudly removed. She won't chew on the rubber bands, just pulls those suckers out. When she would leave a bow in, on a rare occasion, I would always take it out if she was going to be home alone for fear that she would choke on it. I think bows are so sweet and pretty but always keep an eye on them if you know yours will try to pull it out.

I am going round and round with my husband on this topic, I want to put a bow in Lola's hair, and she does fine with it when she is just around me. But LOL I think she knows my DH is on her side because as soon as he comes home she starts rubbing and pawing at it until it is hanging by a strand or two. Then he starts in at me, YOU KNOWWWWWWWWW Donna if this comes off she could choke on it, you NEED to take it offffffff her. That little stinker she kept it on all day and now seconds after he comes home, off comes the bow! That does lead me to a question, do you think she would try to swallow it? |
