Thank you!
I guess things can always get worse, right? Tonight I am thankful for our local vet. We just got home from another visit. I was downstairs working this evening and Scott was upstairs, about to give the pups baths. I guess before he did, he wanted to trim up Layla's feet. Instead of taking out the clippers, he took out the scissors. He was trying to get a big mat out of her back leg, and she kicked reflexively and got quite a nasty cut. We called the vet's emergency cell phone and met her at the office within 2 minutes, and after a lot of blood, Scott having to go outside and throw up, and me almost passing out, Layla has three stitches and a little bandage. It ended up being quite a little cut but my goodness it was a lot of blood! And now Scott knows from now on, no scissors, especially where she has random reflexes. Thank goodness she couldn't feel it!
