I had an appointment today to take Jazzie in to get her stitches out from her spay. Bad news, when doc took the first stitch out, some puss oozed out and obviously the incision hadn't healed all the way shut. So, they left the other stitches in and I have to take her back on Saturday so they can recheck the incision and see about taking the remaining stitches out then. She also has a urinary tract infection
I don't understand how things could have went so wrong with her, I've made her rest, haven't let her play, jump or run, checked her incision daily and there was no redness or swelling. She just can't catch a break.... Doc put her on antibiotics (Calavamox) 2X a day until gone. She's also lost weight, she's back down to 4 pounds 9 ounces. Her and Mags so want to play, but I haven't let them, I thought today was going to be their big day where they could finally get back together and play till their hearts were content, no such luck :-(
