 Seizures!!!
First time on YT!! My Sophie is 10 and I have been flying with her for years. This last trip she had seizures in flight. Called the ER Vet from the airport and had to leave her all day on IV fluids. She was given Valium for a couple of days, we had an uneventful visit. When we got to the airport to go home she started having another one so I gave her the valium, she had 5 seizures in flight. I was in a tizzy to say the least. Has anyone had an experience like this? We have been home 5 weeks now and she has had partial seizures lasting 3-4 sec. We bought Sophie for our poodle when the kids moved out. Now I am sad to say our poodle died last week(another tragic story). I'm afraid to fly now because Sophie has seizures and now her owner (the poodle) is gone. I don't have a clue how to figure out if the seizures are stress related or is it her!
