The vet said not to do allergy testing yet because we are seeing constant improvements (first his stomach has settled, now we're just dealing with skin conditions). If he doesn't improve after this switch then it's an option we're considering. Also the test we have decided on is pretty expensive. I've asked lots of questions about different tests and my vet and I have picked the one we're going to do if it needs to be done. Another thing I'm keeping in mind is I may be moving in 6 months, so there is a likelihood that it is environmental within our apartment so when we move we may see improvements (I have allergies in our current place myself).
