Default elevated liver enzymes

Meh. Pluto goes in for his snip snip next week. Had the pre-blood work done. Dr. calls and says his liver enzymes are slightly elevated. Says sometimes puppies have higher liver enzymes because of bone growth, etc. but that we will want to keep an eye on this. Says he's presenting very healthy otherwise and doesn't want me to be too concerned and that he will be fine for surgery. She brought up bile acid tests, and I said let's do it. Period.

I'm scared. I've grown so attached to this little boy already. Something tells me he's just fine but... ack. I have an email into her suggesting we do the bile acid prior to surgery because I saw that suggested here, but I don't know why it's suggested?

Anyone have anything to add? A story to tell me saying this happened to them and everything was fine? I don't know the exact no's. Her comment was "slightly elevated" - should I be taking him in right now?

Thanks for your input.
