Oh my. Your friend is terribly in the wrong here. I can't even imagine if it was my pup that was lost and no one tried to post she was found. It really makes me sick to my stomach.
But then to breed her on top of all this.
That poor little baby. And just think about how the owners feel if this pup is lost. After a month she obviously isn't going to try to find the owners. Please at least call that states Human Society, vets, groomers, etc to see if they know if anyone is missing a pup from that area. Our dogs got out of the yard one day and I started making phone calls. Luckly, they were found and brought to the Humane Society. They knew I was looking and contacted me to pick them up. A few phone calls wouldn't hurt.
