I would cut that back to 1/4 cup three times a day. Total: 3/4 cup. Your pup is large enough that hypoglycemia is not a likely concern. At 8 months to a year of age, you have to reduce the amount of food again.
Be careful with the additions of fresh food. If they amount to more than 10-20% of your pup's daily intake, you will be unbalancing his nutrients. Dogs are much more sensitive than humans and must have their nutrients balanced. The most important nutrient ratio is phosphorus (from protein sources) to calcium.
