Meesha sleeps in my bed, on the pillow next to mine, she has a ramp to get to it, every night, before she settles down for bed, she licks my pillow i sleep on for a good 5 mins or more! lol, it is drentched in the spot she licks!! i usually flip the pillow over when i go to sleep and wash it the next day  . It is a pain having to wash my pillowcase everyday lol. Quirky Yorkie? Don't you mean 'misunderstanding' Yorkie parents?
Mine have to play in bed a bit before cuddling up to sleep and they only calm down to sleep if the light is turned off.
