Ahh!!! This is the third time I've gone to hit send and my post has disappeared. Do you get timed out here after a few minutes? Anyways, I read the article and there was some great info. I did try to get every spot I knew about with an enzyme cleaner before steam cleaning, but because I didn't have the black light I must have missed some old pee stains that are now permanently set. I checked the Nature's Miracle q&a site and they say that the stains will still show under black light after treatment but the intensity will be less. So I guess once the damage is done, a stain is left one way or the other. We have wall-to-wall carpet upstairs so it does need to get steam cleaned once in a while anyways just from human traffic. My lesson learned is to put hardwood down everywhere haha. Thanks again everyone for your advice. I really appreciate it. |
