i do Cedrics after his bath while he is still in my kitchen sink. his nails are softer after a bath and clip easier and he doesnt mind so much then. i only do the very tips. if you look at the underside of his nail you will see where the quick meets the nail. do online searches as well so you know the structure and feel more comfortable with the process.
