This is not at all how she acted during pancreatitis. Normally the pancreatitis produces hyperactive bowel sounds that can be heard from across the room with bloody stool and vomit; and even though pancreatitis is painful she has never appeared to be in this kind of pain. Her prior vet even made a comment about what a stoic girl she is. It is 3:45 PM here. We are headed to the vet in about 1 hour. She is sleeping on her bed at my feet but I can hear her whining from time to time. My poor girl. I know the vet gave her Pepcid IV so you would think that would have at least calmed her belly a little. The only thing that I have noticed is that she is sleepy from the pain medication but it has been 9 hours since last given and I believe she is going to need another dose for this evening.
