KJC, thanks for the advice. Since she has had pancreatitis in the past, I normally feed her 4 small meals a day because she will eat her food in one sitting if allowed. She never did this prior to pancreatitis but I suspect that the withholding of food during the pancreatitis has made her a bit of a food hoarder. Just the past two weeks or so I have been leaving her dry food out in 2 portions instead of four. I did notice that she ate and drank a lot prior to bed last night. My gut is telling me that blockage may be the problem but she is not having any vomit or loose stools. |
