As for the breed standard, I can't say that I was planning to show her anyway and it doesn't make the least bit of difference to me if she complies fully. As long as she is healthy and happy. She is three weeks old today and a whopping 1lb! |
Eleanor is a pretty name! I started brushing mine early, and it sure makes a world of difference. Zowie and Bronx always are in a rush to get finished, where the puppies just lay there. I usually brush on which-ever one is in my lap - all day. I found these little Goody brushes ($1.59) at Walmart are the best of all for my guys (and I have every brush known to man). They brush out the tangles and don't bother the pups as much as some of the others. I have about 5 scattered all over the house. I don't think mine have especially thick coats but they are silky. I don't really have an idea of what to compare the thickness to. My own hair is very thin and fine, I would say theirs is similar.
