This is scary!
I had a large tree cut down that overhung my house. When the tree guy went up the tree to cut limbs that would have damaged my house if they'd tried to take it down as-is, he saw coyotes near the back of my property. So, thankfully I was made aware of it otherwise I would never have even thought it was a possibility! We hear them sometimes at night. ZoE will wake up and bark when she hears them howling.
It now makes me scared to walk with her anywhere near the back part of my property. I like to stay in the front and close to the house in the back. It a shame, I have a really deep few acre lot and yet now I'm scared to go too far back there even in daylight.
