I didn't realize at first that she was peeing on the new carpet since the stains didn't show. I caught her in the act one day about a week after I got the carpet, and then realized that there were little pee stains all over . They were very hard to see since they're almost the exact colour of the carpet. I steam cleaned the whole carpet (10 x 12 ft) but it's been a losing battle ever since and now she's pooping on it too. I guess I better stick to synthetic carpets from now!
If you have a black light, you might be surprised how much will show up, the body fluid areas will show up iridescent. I think I would spray thoroughly with Nature’s miracle wherever there was an iridescent spot, if you put it away without getting every bit of urine, it might bleach out the spot in time. I think you’ll have better luck with her in a year.
