I agree with everyone else. Get a 2nd opinion from a specialist. We had a good vet at one time that misdiagnosed a torn acl. When we finally decided to go to another vet and found out what the real problem was, arthritis was already setting in and the dog was in a fair amount of pain. I regret waiting! Don't make the same mistake I did.
