What Grade was his murmur? They are graded from 0-4. A Grade 1 murmur, also called a puppy murmur or a benign murmur, will usually resolve by the time the baby is around 1year old. Even if this grade does not resolve, chances are very good this murmur will not be of any concern and will have no effect on your baby's health, activity, or life span.
