Hi,
I've got a 13.5 week old pup who is doing really well for the most part. As will all pups, they need correction at times. What are some of the best methods? I've heard some talk about using a water/squirt bottle, etc. Is this effective? I'm just trying to look for another alternative to the stern "No!" that I've been trying to use.

She's gotten into the habit of pulling her potty pads around her "room" and chewing on them. I've caught her in the act a few times and tried to scold her, but she continues to do it. She has tons of toys in her room, but for some reason is attracted to playing with those pads, which is really gross, especially when they are dirty!

I want to make sure she knows that I'm the boss, but I don't want her to ever be scared of me either.
