I agree and commend you on opening your home to her.....The howling would get old and I am not sure how to deal with that. Does she sleep with your H or in the same room at least? I am sure she is used ot lots of company at night if she was a kennel dog. If she all alone at night this could be the problem.
As for nipping the pups...i would guess she is just letting them know her boundaries and that she is the boss and they need to behave and leave her alone. As long as she is not hurting them I would let them work that out. |
