Amara got her first heat cycle today. I'm really concerned about her. She seems to be doing ok. I'm just really concerned it could be hard on her body. I had planned to get her spayed but my mom kept putting it off. We have her in little diapers now. But are there any risks that I should know of if I get her spayed after she goes into heat? I really wanted to catch her before she went into heat. But my mom was procrasinating.So now I'm stuck for a few weeks. Is there anything I should know about how to help her through her heat cycle. I know its hard on me to have a menstrual. I just don't want her to have to go through that sucky time and feel the way I do. If anyone has anything to offer please do. Any tips or advice will be gladly accepted.
