I don't have a way to weigh them but I would say they are under 5 pounds. Easy to move for cleaning. I don't have a huge bedroom but they really don't take up that much room. I guess you would just have to put them on the side of the bed that has more room. When Gracie was a puppy I put the bed against the wall so I didn't have to worry about her going over the edge and I have a trunk at the bottom of the bed. She was such a tiny puppy I was super cautious with her.
