And usually after she pukes I just clean it up and make her lay down.
Until her problem is diagnosed, I would stop giving her any treats at all. They are too high in protein and fat, and have an abundance of strong flavorings/additives that could upset her tummy. Also stop giving any table food. I know this can be hard to do, but until she's eating an appropriate dog food or diet and keeping it down, you'll have to do what's best for now.

There are special bowls made for dogs who eat too fast, as this can make them vomit too. Or you can spoon feed her by only giving her a teaspoon full at a time, and spread her meal out to 10 to 15 minutes or so instead of her eating it all in 5 seconds. Food and water bowls should be stainless steel or ceramics (human grade for food use).

I would feed her the I/D as your vet suggested for now. With all the vomiting she has done, her system needs time and bland food to heal itself. You can discuss what to feed her once she's recovered with your vet, as that may depend on her diagnosis..

Whenever a dog vomits, the food and water should be removed, and the dog should be fasted for 6, 12, or 24 hours. Once they vomit, if they go and eat or drink again too soon, they'll just throw up again, and again , and again. Fasting the dog allows time for their tummy to settle down.

When food and water is reintroduced to the dog, only give tiny amounts to begin with, One teaspoon of food, 1/8 cup of water. If they keep that down for 15-30 minutes, repeat that amount and watch again. If that stays down, double the amounts and watch her again. If she vomits again, start over with fasting for a longer time. If it stays down, give a small amount one more time, then try a full meal. If she starts to drink too much water though, pick it up and give her smaller amounts at a time until she stops trying to empty the entire bowl.
