Jazzie was spayed today as well, but doc gave her an injection of pain meds before the surgery, he said it would last until tomorrow. I've been laying on the bed beside her for hours, she makes sounds when she loves, like she's a bit uncomfortable, but that's about it. What did they send you home with for pain? Jazzie is 4 pounds 14 ounces, her med they sent home is Rimadyl (there's 1 tablet in the bottle, it's 25mg) I am to split that in half and give her half of it tomorrow and half the day after. She hasn't eaten anything since yesterday, she wasn't allowed to have anything after 7:30 in the evening, nothing to eat or drink. So, I mixed some kayro syrup in water and am pushing fluids with a syringe. I'm hoping by tomorrow all three of our furbabies will be feeling a bit better, but if Bella isn't, I'd call the vet back, specially if she's really wheezing.
