I hand feed Sophie Kate her kibble at breakfast time.

Started this when she was sick to make sure she was eating and some how it has carried on.

Our morning routine is:

1. Up and out of bed (by 6:30 am every morning)
2. Outside to do her business
3. Back in the house, get kibble, feed the cat, get my coffee
4. Snuggle on the couch for about 15 minutes while I feed her

I am reminded all the time that she does not get this treatment when I am gone and she eats fine. Maybe this is my way of getting 15 minutes of extra time before I start my day.
