Thanks for the input guys! i have been working with her over the past few days, rewarding her and praising her when she lets me get near her with the brushes and scissors....lucky for me she is a fast learner and loves to be rewarded with training treats! I would love to know what happened at the first groomers...I would so love to blast them! She was never like this before and it all came to light after this new groomer and what happened. Poor baby! Lucky for me she was able to groom her body, minus her face. Her face isnt that bad, though she looks like a lion and the kids have called her "big head".... It is quite comical and I never really realized exactly how tiny she still is (3lbs)! I will take her back tomorrow and stay with her and try to get her nails clipped and a few stray hairs snipped, if only for her to get used to going there. The groomer said she is willing to do whatever it takes to get Sunny over this hump. Me too.....lets face it, she is going to have to deal with grooming sessions for the next how many years?!
