I am wanting to know what anyone has done to help a new pup settle in so you get some sleep. Mine goes to bed anywhere from 10 to 11 and is up at 1am so I take him pee and put him to bed... he wines for a long time and then goes to sleep he then gets up at 3am and I take him pee then he wines a long time again then he gets up at 5 and we go pee and then he wines for an hour because he wants to play or cuddle but I try to ignore him. Last night I turned on the dryer just for the vibrations and the sound but didn't help. I have one of those sound things that has a heartbeat that I am going to try tonight but I want to know what others have tried.
