If you are really in doubt, talk to your groomer, ask for suggestions and what look would work for your baby with his type of hair...take him with you when you ask. When you go for the clip, if you are still undecided, ask for a mini-trim (face, ears, paws, nails, anals, cleanliness clip, etc.) until you can decide on a cut. If you find a photo of a cut you like, print it or send it to your phone and take it with you. If you can choose a groomer before you have your baby clipped, talk to the groomer before your grooming appt. Address apprehensions and what you think you might want for cut or future look. Research what the groomer says. Then, when you go back, you will have a better idea what to ask for. A good groomer can help you end up with the look you want and good looks along the way. I am sure you will figure it out, but I totally understand the quandry of cut....been there...done that...not sure I am done with that!
