I wouldn't use honey, not recommended for human babies under 1 year...so not good for puppies. (bacterial issue I think)
Only use Nutrical or Karo or pancake syrup if it's needed... puppies should eat enough to sustain them. If he continues to have hypoglycemic episodes, increase feedings and amounts and see your vet. Using it regularly can cause them not to eat enough, and always feed some sort of protein after using it. |
