I dont know why he wont eat in the morning and if I let him he will sleep until 1:00 in the afternoon, is that normal? And to get him to finaly eat which is around 12:30, I have to play with his food on the floor for like 15 minutes then once he eats the first piece he will eat more.
And today before I got him to eat he was even dry heaving, I think from him not eating.
So if I let him sleep all he wants(1:00 or maybe even later) can he go in a coma or something from being hypoglycemic and not eating.
And Im not sure if hes being lethargic or tired, because when I get him up at 9:00-10:00 he will just sleep in the play pen even with the kids playing in the same room. And when I pick him up and show him toys he will keep trying to sleep.
So my questions are, how can I tell if hes lethargic or just tired? Is it normal for a puppy to sleep that late? And why does he not want to eat until 12:00-1:00? Sorry so many questions. He has his next vet visit on friday but just wanted to know what you think. Any ideas are appreciated.
