Had to laugh at that one! That's exactly what my sister's OB said to her (of course, switch "baby" with "dog"!). She just had a baby and when he was asking her if she wanted to get back on birth control or try for another soon (they had issues getting pregnant the first time), she said she just wanted to wait a while because this baby just took every minute of their time. So he said what you just said!
Never really thought it that way!
