That really stinks! When I worked in grooming shops I made sure that everyone put exactly what they wanted on the grooming check in slip. Even dogs that came in every week. All grooming shops should do this even if they see that dog on a weekly (we had many weekly dogs). This wasn't a policy of the shop, it was mine. I had groomers working with me that would take liberty in grooming dogs the way they wanted at times so I forced the issue.

Hopefully you can get to the bottom of it. From now on though, no matter what, leave specific instructions. Some people just don't think. (Groomer not you)
