I had the same problem with Christabel. Keeping the lease short is a big help. Also, when your pup starts pulling or wanting to go ahead, just completely stop until the pup stops pulling, then walk forward and say come. It might take a little while but before you know it your pup will be walking beside you in the direction that you want to go. |
