Im sorry to hear this- Poor guy-
Peanut is 4 years old and he has had 3 dentals. He had a dental/ pull his puppy teeth out at about 6 months, a dental at 2 and a dental at 4. I always feared about his teeth falling out, or getting so bad that had to extract them. Yorkies have bad teeth in general- you have to stay up on them.
If I were you I would get his teeth taken care of- just brushing them is not "really" going to do anything. He needs a dental from the Vet. Brody is still young and has many years left- 5 years is a long time going without a dental.
