I appreciate the suggestions re: spraying water (I know, I know - without lemon), and the coins in a jar. These don't work for Rocco. My next step is to remove him and isolate him in the bathroom, as a trainer suggested. She said to use the "quiet" command, and give him 2 chances. 3rd time, very calmly put him in the bathroom and shut the door. Once he is quiet, let him out and reward him; repeat as necessary. I'll try this later this week when I can dedicate all of my attention to him. And no worries, there are no lemons in the bathroom that he can hurt himself with.
Have you gone to the "general training questions" section of YT? It has several threads on barking. Teresa Ford has already offered some really good training advice about barking. She has been training Yorkies for quite a while so I value her advice. (No lemon juice)
