So about a month ago I bought a 2 and a half pound bag of Chicken Jerky and another smaller bag of another chicken type treat. Thanks to YT I learned that they come from China. The bags were adorned with American flags and proclaiming that the manufacturer was proudly American. Upon inspection after reading the jerky warning I found in itty bitty writing "imported by" buried in amongst all the other info. So I now had 40 dollars worth of crap that I wouldn't be feeding my little one.
Today without receipts I went into WM and was able to return the products. I brought a print out of the FDA warning with me and they gave me store credit. So in spite of the fact that we are cancelling all our cable and land line phone service to save money I took the credit and did a little "Yorkie shopping"
I picked up some mane and tail detangle spray, two toys, three little tennis balls, a fine tooth comb, nylabones and pure bites chicken treats.
I justified the purchases by rationalizing that I had originally spent the money on Chloe so I was simply trading her treats for other Chloe stuff LOL. She loves her new toys and I just love getting her new things.
In my next life I want to come back as MY Yorkie LOL!
