I had two things I always did. My first "recipe" is kind of like a doggie bagel(; I would smear cream cheese on the inside, then her dry kibble, then cream cheese, and continue doing that until it's full. Then I would make sure the last layer was cream cheese. I would take a plastic knife and BARELY dip it into strawberry, or apple jam. Not grape though, grapes are bad for dogs. Then i would put a tiny dot of it on top and freeze it. The jam is mainly for smell, since it's so sugary I don't want her having a lot of it.
The second thing I did was very similar. I did the exact same process but only with about a quarter of a mashed banana. Then froze it too.
I know a lot of people like to put peanut butter in it, but Coco has never really liked peanut butter. I've tried to give some to her multiple times and she just looks at me like "Kirstyn, what the heck it this... *sniff* *sniff* it doesn't smell very good."
