Katie Scarlett is pad trained, but she loves to go outside. But I have noticed that on days it is snowing, she will not budge from the front door on her own. I think she does not like the cold. I have taken her out once in the snow and she seemed to like it once we got out there, but she would not go. She came in and went straight for the pee pad. So now on really cold days I either do laps around the house to give her a bit of exercise or we suit up and go to Petco/PetSmart/etc. I know it's indoors, but at least she is out and walking. And again, when I take her out to those places she will not pee...even outside. She will hold it until we get home and she has her good ol' pee pad.
