You and the owner need to watch the pup like a hawk if u aren't going to use the crate idea. I didn't use a crate I just watched him everywhere he went and as soon as I saw the leg go up yell no and take him outside to finish. He was completely trained in three to four weeks now he goes straight to the door. It will take both of u to do this in order for the pup to know that its bad when he does it. Also give a little treat when he goes outside and gradually wean the treats as he gets better . That worked for me |
