I hope you are finding Yorkie Talk helpful. I lived in MA and NH so I know what you mean about harsh winters. Although, this winter seems to be much warmer. I got my pup in late summer. It worked out well as far as potty training goes. Once the winter came however, she didn't want to go out at all. It was much to cold for her. She started using the wee wee pads again. That worked out fine. When the weather was warmer, she was back to going outdoors. She didn't seem to have a problem doing her business in either place. I think I was pretty lucky.
