The disadvantage: it's double the work, double the expense. It's much more difficult to take 2 anywhere, and the boys dislike if I leave one behind (the one left at home isn't alone because grandpa is always here, but they both want to go out). |
I recently added a second and I was surprised that they are not more self-entertaining. Gidget always looked to me for entertainment and I thought I second would be more of a playmate. They do play together but still look to me quite a bit for entertainment.
It is harder to take the second one places, and we used to take Gidget most places w us. The increase in pottying I also miscalculated.
It is nice in the eves. DH likes that the youngest stays w him in the eves and is his shadow. It is twice the love and twice the cuteness. I have some health problems, though, so it might be a little easier for those w more energy! They are darn cute, though!
