I agree with above pros & cons. But they are by nature pack animals. I always have at least 2 dogs. I believe they enjoy the company if left alone for any length of time. I work & I hate to think one of mine would be all by themself. Got both my yorkies grown...but they have learned to play & play with each other. So cute.
