After anesthesia many of them will whimper and whine the first night. Are you sure it is wheezing? If she is actually wheezing, she should be seen; but if it is a low whining sound, that is pretty normal. Along with wheezing, she would have increased respirations.

Certainly would not hurt to call the vet if you can.
